CONSTRUCTION OF CAPE COAST STADIUM TAKES OFF

At the moment at the Cape Coast Stadium site the concrete works for the construction of the stands are ongoing and over eighty columns have been constructed and the three gates have been constructed.
The roof of the stadium is currently being constructed while the field for the football game has been leveled. 
Over one hundred and nine workers have been employed. According to the foreman Samuel Elvis the project will be completed in 2015 due to this time limit they work on the site 24 hours from Monday to Sunday.
The 15800-capacity stadium is being funded with a Chinese government grant of US$30 million and is expected to be completed in 2015. Work on the project started in August 20, 2013.
When completed, the stadium will have eight runway tracks, a natural grass football field, three parking lot, two outdoor basketball courts, one outdoor handball court, a boxing training court, a press conference hall and a media room.

Other facilities include a medical room, an audience emergency room, two referee rooms, three management rooms, three storage facility, two security rooms, two VIP lobby halls, four athletic lounges, 22 guest rooms with LED electronic display, audio amplification system and a number of track and field sports devices.
