By: Kwamina Bamfo-Agyei
Last year during the Fetu Afahyia the paramount Chief of Cape Coast Osabarima  Kwesi  Ataa II  appealed to the government to expedite action on the construction of the Kotokuraba market which he noted that the project is being constructed on a 5km/hour rate which is not the best for the traders who had to sell their goods in the atmosphere during the raining season and the hot weather.
On Tuesday January 28, 2014 CENTRAL PRESS paid a visit to the construction sites and six of the temporary stores have been constructed for the transfer of the traders to Kotoka market in order to start the actual construction work at Kotokuraba market.
According to the Member of Cape Coast North Hon. Ebo Barton Odro a  loan facility was taken from China EXIM bank to construct the market
