The Director- General
of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO)
Dr. Irina Bokova paid a visit to the world Heritage Castle to familiarize herself
with the operation of the castle.
Her visit highlights the
efforts to foster the African renaissance as well as higher education
challenges in Africa. She stressed that education is her main focus to develop
Ghana and the rest of the world.
She is expected to visit Gabon, Malawi and Congo.
