The Paramount Chief of
Aburansa who also is the Nifa hene of Komenda Tradional Area, Nana Kwamina
Annobil II has appealed to citizens of the area to participate in this year’s
Yam festival to mark his twenty years anniversary on the throne as the paramount
Chief.
He said the Yam
festival (EDZWODZI) would be observed from 21 to 27 October, 2013. It will be
on the theme Healthy Environment, Key to Economic Growth.
He used the opportunity
to appeal to investors to invest in the area in order to creat employment for
the youth in that area. He said within the twenty years period of being a chief
he has worked with the government to provide electricity, improve the road
network and the provision of portable water in the area. The establishment of
the plastic recycling company in the area was within the twenty years period.
He however appealed to
the government to construct a senior High School and a market in the area. He
said this during the Launch of the Aburansa Edzwodzi festival
