SCHOOL BUILDING DEMOLISHED IN CAPE COAST

The Presbyterian Church of Ghana has demolished a portion of the Nursery and primary classroom blocks to to make way for the expansion of the construction of their church building.

According to some of the teachers the Church is gradually demolished the entire school complex, this act of the Church they indicated will not benefit the school children and the community. 

Some of the parents have appealed to the government to relocate the school from the premises since the construction of the church is distracting the attention of the kids from learning.

Meanwhile Central Press tried speaking to minister of the Church but at the time of the visit it was indicated that the matter is with the police and the church is unable to comment on the situation.

At the moment pupils of primary one share the same class with primary two pupils as a result of the expansion project by the church. While the children at the nursery school have been relocated within the metropolis.
