A big day for Central Press

This morning, we began our travels to the voices of Ghana's radio stations picking up on our exclusive front page story: 'Stop using buildings as billboards, says Regional Minister exclusively to CP'. (See below.)

We drove on to chat with the Mayor of Cape Coast, who thanked one of our departing interns - Vicky 'Abba' McNaught-Davis - for her hard work on the newspaper. He then also thanked continuing fellow intern Xavier Goavec, and discussed future prospects with editor Mr. Bamfo-Agei and board director Mr. Savage. (See photograph below.)

We then joined him in celebrating the arrival of the Queen of Swaziland at Cape Coast, then following her on a tour of the infamous castle. Addressing the sub chiefs, she noted Ghana's notable recent progressions in women's rights and hoped that they would continue. (See photograph below.)

Currently, we are awaiting our next conference at the Cape Coast Chiefs' Palace and uploading new content to the website.
