The Member of parliament for Cape Coast North constituency, Ebo Barton
Odro has on behalf of the Ministry of Environment, Science and
Technology has dona
ted one hundred and twenty Lap Top computers to some students of the Cape Coast Polytechnic.
He appealed to the students to make good use of the computers. He noted
that the distribution forms part of government’s on-going Information
Communications Technology (ICT) project which, it says, is aimed at
fostering the knowledge of Information Communications Technology (ICT)
in students across the country.
Hon. Odro said the procedure is
to apply for the laptop; a committee sits to review whether the
applicant meets the criteria and when the committee selects and approves
the applicant, the Ministry of Environment , Science and Technology
supplies the laptops.
